ABMP Announces New IFL Topic, Free Instructor Webinars

Calling all instructors! ABMP will launch our NEW topic in the Instructors on the Front Lines (IFL) workshop series on Friday, June 3, in Denver, Colorado. Topic 7: “Peer Learning: How to Bring Out the Best in Your Students” is a free 5-hour, live workshop focused on developing peer-learning activities that build student engagement and motivation, and reinforce key concepts.

Oklahoma Licensing Bill Signed by Governor

Oklahoma Senate Bill 687, passed in the state legislature and has now been signed into law by Governor Fallin. A workable grandfathering provision was added to the bill, and the hours of massage therapy education required to obtain a license (after the grandfathering period) was reduced from 750 hours to 500 hours.
