Revised Rules for Continuing Education
The board revised the rule regarding continuing education requirements March 2009. All 24 hours required for your October 31, 2010, renewal must to be obtained during the licensing period (between November 1, 2008 and October 31, 2010). At least 12 of the 24 required hours must be direct hands-on supervised instruction and the remaining 12 hours may include other forms of instruction such as online education. The board only accepts continuing education providers assigned a provider code number by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
