The Kentucky Board of Licensure for Massage Therapy is seeking applicants to serve on the board. There is currently one vacancy for a licensed massage therapist (LMT).
The board consists of seven members—five must be LMTs (two of those can also be owners or directors of a board-approved school). Candidates must be residents of Kentucky for at least one year and have been practicing massage therapy for at least five of the last seven years. Each board term is three years in length. Additional information about board member responsibilities can be found on pages 111–112 of the Kentucky board directory.
Interested applicants need to complete the online Boards and Commissions Application through Governor Matt Bevin's website as soon as possible.
