Continuing Education 133.3(2)
The current rule requires licensed massage therapists to complete at least eight hours of hands-on continuing education. The proposed rule would allow licensees to complete eight of the required 16 hours of CE either in-person or through live, interactive media.
Although in-person CE instruction would not be required, the Board would strongly encourage licensees to obtain in-person instruction, when possible, especially when learning new techniques. Essentially, this proposed rule would give licensees the option to attend in-person instruction or to complete CEs online.
