The 11th Annual Meeting of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) was held in Cleveland, Ohio, with 39 delegates in attendance, along with more than 65 registrants from member boards, businesses, and professional associations.
The delegate assembly, comprised of FSMTB member boards and agencies, elected Charlene Russell, member of the Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy, and David Cox, member of the Maryland State Board of Massage Therapy Examiners, to three-year terms. Thomas Ryan, executive director of the Wisconsin Massage Therapy and Bodywork Affiliated Credentialing Board, was elected to a one-year term.
Ed D. Bolden, chair of the Tennessee Massage Licensure Board was elected to serve as president, Charlene Russell was elected to serve as vice president, and David Cox was elected to serve as treasurer.
