Video Course: Cornerstones 16: Evaluating Instructional Quality
Cindy Williams
Instructors and school administrators should see the process of developing and evaluating instructional quality in the same way they see developing and evaluating students’ knowledge and skills. The purpose is to continuously learn and grow. This is a key component to becoming and remaining an effective instructor. This 16th course in Cornerstones: The ABMP Instructor Development Program is suitable for a wide audience—the givers and the receivers of evaluations. This includes school owners, directors, supervisors, and instructors. Since everyone is involved in the evaluation process, this course is beneficial for everyone to engage in learning that outlines best practices. We can only grow through honest evaluation of how we are currently performing from our own point of view, as well as from the point of view of others.
